Históricamente las mujeres han sido minimizadas, encasilladas religiosa y socialmente en roles de madres, esposas abnegadas, y cuidadoras, en un sistema machista y patriarcal. Pero tanto en el terreno doméstico como en la comunidad, mujeres organizadas han resistido para cambiar los contextos que las oprimen. Estas son las historias de mujeres que desde cualquier coordenada de México construyen alternativas y aportan soluciones concretas en su vida y en la colectividad frente a la poca acción del estado.

Este trabajo fue realizado con el apoyo de la International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) como parte del Fondo Howard G Buffett para Mujeres Periodistas.
