In 2021, the Birnin Yauri abduction happened. After a mass release of some of the abductees, many people said all 89 of them had been released. But 11 families knew this was not true. Done with support from IWMF, we focus on the girls who were left behind for two years and how they were forced into marriage and motherhood by their captors.
