Today, SABC News brings you the last episode of The Waiting List series. This instalment looks at how participants have mobilised crowdfunding to enable transgender people to access healthcare. It also shows how the community continues to lobby for representation in the various sectors. This three-part series is a collaboration between SABC News and the International Women’s Media Foundation. SABC News journalist Reginald Witbooi and freelance journalists Selloane Khalane and Saif Arbee produced this series.
