Blood, stab wounds and burns.

As IWMF Fellows, we need to know how to get out of sticky situations. One of it? Apply first aid.

As I discovered during this trip, getting fake injuries take a lot of work. Much more than the standard tomato sauce spray.

Fake chopped off limbs and puncture wounds, stick-ons that look like your face or body was badly burned off. These were just Hollywood B-grade action film injuries we got as part of our security training.

Pretending to be injured is a lot more easier than applying first aid in an intense situation when people are screaming around you and you have to move quickly.

It was a new experience to learn combat training and first aid in a hotel that was formerly a private residence in the middle of plantations, fitted with secret passageways.

Until then, off to the next adventure!!!
