Early in the morning, people in Bangui gather to exercise in the national stadium, called “Vingt mille places” (which means “20,000 seats” even though I was told up to 40,000 people crowd in for big football games.) On a quiet Sunday at first light, people were playing soccer on unkempt grass, running laps, practicing boxing and doing group pilates work-outs. Running there was one of my sweetest memories of #CAR, especially the view down on the city after running up to the top of all those stairs. Looks peaceful, doesn’t it? #iwmffellows @theiwmf #CARcrisis #RCA #africa #photojournalism #centralafricanrepublic ?: @brennamaepro
