Edwin was one of the few survivors of the infamous Juarez birthday party massacre in 2010 that killed 13. He lived in spite of being shot 11 times. Irene first met him when she reported here five years ago, at the height of the violence. She wanted to come back to hear what his life has been like since then. He’s now 23 and is able to live a normal life, in spite of doctors telling him he would probably never walk again.
