Female journos who rock

The great thing about being a freelancer is the freedom you have to choose and report stories you care about, but working by yourself can get quite lonely sometimes. It’s nice to be in the field seeing how your peers work, sharing ideas and just generally bonding with a lot of bad@$$ women. I’ve been really impressed how little ego factors into our group dynamic during the fellowship; proof that we can operate differently in a very competitive industry.
