I know we don’t really need another journalist waxing poetic about the border wall, so I won’t. I’ll just share a line from a poem by poet Alberto Ríos that popped in to my head upon first seeing the border wall jutting in to the sea:

“The border is mighty, but even the parting of the seas created a path, not a barrier.”
