In Kampala, traffic jams are not to be taken lightly. Moving from interview to interview is complicated by constant gridlock. Ask one of our drivers how long the trip from Point A to Point B will take and they’ll tell you, not long, unless there’s a jam. We’ve learned during our few days exploring the city that there’s always a jam! Thankfully Ronald, Saul, William and George, our unflappable drivers, navigate the chaos with ease. And, as a bonus, we learn a lot about Ugandan culture and politics from them while we’re stuck in traffic!
