It’s only Day 1 of Global Journalist Security’s hostile environments and first aid training and our fellows have covered a lot of ground!
As seen here, they put into practice situational awareness by using their voice to deter potential danger. Some fellows shouted “No!”, “Stop!” and “Hey!”. They also learned how to effectively move away from a hostile situation.
Shout out to GJS because we know that our fellows will be even better journalists because of this training!
