Last night’s sunset over the South Sudanese capital Juba was spectacular. Unfortunately, as multiple signs and window stickers in our hotel indicate, it’s against the law to photograph public places here. Our group learned this the hard way the moment we landed and almost had our phones confiscated for taking photos on the airport tarmac. Still, this sky was worth a little rule breaking.
