“I tend to move to places and start my reporting journey there while everyone else is moving away. I moved to Afghanistan in December of 2014 to cover human and underreported stories, an attempt in completing the portrayal of this war-torn country. I think my work from Iran in the 2 years I lived there demonstrates that attempt as well.”
