Our IWMF reporting fellowship launched today with the first day of our hostile environment and first aid training. In the first aid module fellows learned skills essential to working in difficult environments with minimal health infrastructure, such as searching for major bleeds, checking airways, doing body scans, and putting people in recovery positions.
