Yesterday was the Rwanda team’s last day at Speke resort in Entebbe and after an intense three days of hyper vigilance and security protocols, it was great to end on a lighter note. We met with a large group of local Ugandan journalists who shared their different perspectives working on the field. As a freelancer I was reminded how powerful it is to build a safety net of journalists and that no journalist should ever have to feel isolated.
