Cattle have become one focus of the cartels in Jalisco, local journalist Juan Carlos Huerta Vázquez says. The state is a large producer of beef and milk products, and the animals are valuable. They are stolen from ranches by cartel cattle rustlers and sold in mobile butcheries, which are popular spots for people to buy meat.
