The day I crashed two parties

While working on a story in the very hot Juba weather with our fixer Samir, we decide to look for fun stuff to photograph around Juba town. Our drive around the little town paid off when we came across a wedding at St. Joseph parish church. As almost every other time, Samir realises he knows some people at the wedding! Samir is quite a famous guy in the city.

Nancy and Michael leave the church on their wedding day in Juba, South Sudan.

Women sing and dance celebrating the newly-weds.

After the wedding party, we found ourselves at a graduation party of the VIP Academy of Aviation and Technology. We crashed that too – till curfew did us part!

Students march to the graduation event. The students graduated in Air ticketing and flights check in among other courses.

Students arrive at the venue for their graduation event.
