The most rewarding thing about this fellowship is getting to meet and have the opportunity to collaborate with such talented journalists. Its been so inspiring working with Erika Aguilar as she hunts for pieces of strange and beautiful audio, her microphone scanning the world- footsteps in the street market, old men singing love songs, water running down drains, the dark tales of coyotes and even the crunch of piles of dog food in a market stall.
