This is my second time reporting in South Sudan and I am grateful to be here again with IWMF. As some of you may have heard, South Sudan has become increasingly weary of foreign journalists. This has no doubt created a sensitive reporting environment, especially for photographers. There have been many challenging moments and I’m grateful for all of them. These challenges have forced me to look for more depth and intimacy in the simple moments of life.
