Today is our last day in Beni. I really like this place. It feels more open
than Goma was. Smaller, but also brighter.
And it’s a town with a history of relative independence, because it’s more
of a business town than a government town, or so they tell me. And the
political history is unique too, though I won’t get into that yet. Got one
more source to speak to on that subject!
It’d be very good to come back here one day.
