Today Melissa, Nadine and I met Pastor Nunez and his wife Lety. They both fell into crime as children and met serving time in prison; he was a murdering gang member while she dealt drugs. After religion helped him turn his life around, Nunez has helped hundreds of prisoners get clean and reintegrate with society. The couple have adopted 25 children who were orphaned, abandoned or trapped by their addictions – they all live together in a sprawling house next to the church where he preaches.
